Description: Four years old on release. Massive quantities of freshly picked Derwent Valley Morello cherries from January 2016 were steeped in oak barrels containing spontaneously fermenting Tasmanian farmhouse ale for more than two years. Once separated from the fruit (the spent cherries go into our still) the crimson ale was subjected to the most often quoted of our production techniques "if gravity won't fix it, it can't be fixed!" for a further 18 months before being re-fermented in the bottle.
